Little Books was founded by leading publisher Max Hamilton-Little, whose previous successes include the bestselling Superjuice by Michael van Straten.
One of the youngest people ever to set up a publishing house in the UK, she has signed up an impressive list of bestselling writers including Celia Haddon, Denise Robertson, Dr Thomas Stuttaford and Joseph Connolly.
Prior to establishing Little Books, Max Hamilton-Little was Publishing Director for Cassell & Co, part of the Orion Publishing Group, where she was also on the board of Hachette Illustrated. After graduating from Cambridge, she worked for Headline, Ebury Press and Mitchell Beazley, where she looked after the wine and food list including the bestselling Hugh Johnson's Pocket Wine Book. At Mitchell Beazley she set up a new high profile list, signing up authors such as Jonathan Miller and publishing several major bestsellers.
